Planning a city wedding in London? Then take some inspo from this pair, who had a perfect, relaxed day with their nearest and dearest at some historical London landmarks.
Getting ready at the Inhabit Hotel
Their day began at the gorgeous Inhabit Hotel on Queen's Gardens, where they got ready. They both looked dashing in their tailored suits (and the herringbone stitching colours complimented each other's suits - a lovely touch!). After some snaps and laughs there, we hopped into a black cab and headed to Old Marylebone Town Hall for their ceremony.
The Ceremony at Marylebone Town Hall
Jake and John tied the knot in the elegant Pimlico Room at Marylebone Town Hall. After exchanging their vows, we headed outside to take advantage of the stunning architecture and city setting to take some portraits.
A Ride on the Tube
One of the highlights was riding the tube to Piccadilly Circus with some of their guests. Shooting on a moving train, while half clinging onto a pole for dear life was quite the experience!
Couple Portraits Underneath Regent Street's Pride Flags
As we emerged from the tube, Regent Street's Pride flags were on full display. Jake and John had told me on our planning call that they'd love some couple portraits with the flags as a backdrop. It was absolutely perfect, and what a way to commemorate their special day in their home city.
Reception at Fortnum & Mason
They wanted their wedding reception to be intimate and classy, so chose to have it at Fortnum & Mason, an absolute London institution. They had afternoon tea in the colourful and intimate Tasting Room. It was the perfect setting for them, and a perfect end to a brilliant wedding.
